I have successful taken smoke smells out of rentals many times. Coffee grounds in a can in each room for one week. For the carpet it should have pet arm and hammer pet cleaner (the dust/ granule type) this should be poured all on the carpet and left for 3 days. the smell should be gone.

@ Justin dossey my first two I used a mortgage. 2 through ten I bought tax deeds and paid 545 to 4200. The 4200 bought me  two 1000 square foot houses in a busy college town.

Yes, the rentals are all in the general Anniston area. I keep everything rented. The area is growing with about 40 new national retail stores in the last 4 years.and a major shopping center about 3 miles away. Thank you so much. I will look into those. When you get a list I'd like to purchase it, or I might have a deal I need an agent for.

My name is Chandler Jones. I have binge watched every podcast and finally came to the site. I will upload a profile picture as soon as I figure out how. I am looking for portfolio lenders in Anniston or Birmingham, Alabama area. I currently own 10 rentals. I am 25 years young. Any tips or advice towards portfolio lenders would be greatly appreciated.
