Hey guys, not sure if any of you are from around the Shreveport Louisiana area or not. My dad is going down there and will be down there for the next 3 months for cancer treatments. He is having a hard time finding a descent place to rent for a short time. He considered buying something and fixing it and flipping it while he was there, but by the time he closes on it I doubt he would have time. Let me know if you guys have any ideas. Thanks!!

Thanks for the help! Keep the ideas coming. Do the extended stay places have a washer and dryer in their room? I know my mom was saying a few places just had a community laundry mat and she wasn't too thrilled with the idea of that.

They are in Memphis and north Mississippi. American Homes for Rent, a fund called Freo, and a few other small ones as well as a couple of major "brokerages" like Main Street Renewal. They have dwindled our market in north MS to almost nothing. My wife is an agent and can't find clients any descent houses because they have already bought them all. I am an investor and I try to send everything I have to them. They pay top dollar and they pay cash. You can't beat it. We have probably flipped 30+ houses to them this year.

Maybe I should have clarified that the kitchen has not been rehabbed. Here is another picture of the kitchen and it def could be cleaned. So yes the kitchen has not been rehabbed but much of the house has. If you have any questions, I'd be glad to answer then.
