I am currently looking at rentals in the 53206 area. What pitfalls and how successful have investors been in these area(s)? I am looking to BRRR and buy and hold. Any nuggets would be appreciated.

Thx Andrew! I am not really seeing alot! Am pre-qual so can move quickly in needed.

Hi Indy!

I am in the chicago area, looking to start building out a team of agent, contractor, lender, PM. If you are interested in developing relationships message me. I am looking for dup-tri within 25 miles of indy. Pref (~200k range, C class, good areas, maybe need some updating inside, but is good shape to turn over quickly or have tenents arlready).

Hi Alan,

I am for sure interested in this meet-up. Thanks for this nugget of advice!

Thanks Victor,

I live off the Tokaido line, I have observed the same thing, but wanted other peoples input. Flipping homes is a bust here, Single family homes are a bust, also owning apartments in building can be complicated. The only way I see is to buy chunks of land, knock down homes, and build new apartments and sale. This is outside my knowledge. I dont want to invest back home, if I am not there. As people can easily take advantage of me and it is not easy to physically look at the property. So, I guess  am stuck for the time being. Thanks again Victor.

I have recently moved to Japan in between Tokyo and Yokohama. I have Rentals throughout the US. I am hoping to learn more about the Japan Market. The Pros/Cons, what to look for, what to stay away from, and make some new connections. I am all about buy and hold real estate.
