Post: Hard Money or Portfolio lending in New Orleans,LA

Local community banks such as Heritage Bank on the Northshore can help with portfolio loans. Hard money lenders are few and far between in NOLA.

No worries. I don't have someone in that area that I can recommend. I would suggest finding local investor meet ups in the area that can make a local referral for you. Best of luck!

Have you considered a 203k construction loan? It'll be better terms than most hard money lenders or private lenders.

Which part of Louisiana are you referencing? I potentially can make referrals based on location.

Your next best option is to self-manage. Not easy and definitely not for everyone but ultimately, until you can afford the service that is the only option unless you want to have negative cashflow. The forums have a ton of great insight into how to decide which PM company to hire and how to interview them before hiring. Ultimately, it will take managing the PM on your part to make sure that they are taking care of your property and that you are getting the best experience with what you are paying for.

Are you looking to do your first real estate investment deal? If so, come hear two stories of how local investors did their first flip and another bought their first rental property. This will be an interview style presentation to understand how they got their first deal and what they learned along the way.

The event venue has changed their name recently to Comfort Inn & Suites from Country Inn & Suites. Same location, just don't let the new name fool you. Doors open at 6:00PM and the meeting will start at 6:30PM. If you have business cards and/or a deal, bring them! There will be plenty of opportunities to learn, network and share local deals.

Our goal is to provide education that is coupled with actionable steps and networking opportunities at our meet ups without any pressure of a sales pitch. We welcome new and experienced investors as well as those who provide services to the industry to join us! Can't make this meeting? No worries! Check out our Facebook page to find the live streams of our meetings as well as different meet ups we may have throughout the month. Like our page if you'd like to stay in the loop! Our events are free thanks to our local s ponsors.

For July, we will be discussing how to find your first investment property. If you have ever wondered where to find deals, this will be a great chance to learn about different auctions and sites as well as tips of the trade on where to keep an eye out for deals.

Interested in learning about this either for yourself or for your clients? Come join us!

We will be in the back side room on the parking lot side since there are multiple side rooms in that restaurant. We do encourage you to order something to eat and to bring something to take notes if that is helpful for you.

Interested in learning more about investing in real estate? We invite you for this “lunch and learn” type of setting. This will be an informal but educational based meet up that will reoccur once a month to cover an array of general topics that you would face in the real estate investing world. Come stop in on your lunch break and order some yummy food while you get a chance to learn and meet others.

New and experienced investors are welcomed to attend as well as agents looking to learn on behalf of their role in the industry. This event is FREE to attend thanks our amazing spon sors! So no worries, we aren’t looking to sell you anything just wanting to do deals. 😉
