Post: Effectively Using Craigslist?

I am wondering if anyone has any success stories pertaining to using Craigslist in the most effective manner. Craigslist will not let you do multiple postings for several cities however, this is what I would like to do! Has anyone been able to work around this? And which type of Marketing Campaign has worked best for you? Regular Text or HTML campaigns?

All comments are welcome!

Recently I have been receiving a lot of deals for REOs in my market passed on by Investors involved in "Daisy Chains", as some folks call them. I am wondering has anyone out there ever successfully dealt with an Investor that was part of one of these chains? If so, what is the most effective way, in your opinion, of dealing with these guys/gals?

Are there any Contractors / Rehabbers in Detroit ready to do some business?

If so please give me a shout out. We currently are looking to expand our network of Contractors that work fast! We are currently looking into rehabbing an 8-unit Apartment building and we are accepting bids. If you are interested let me know.

I am fairly new in the Real Estate Investing aspect of this business. Our company currently is into rehabbing and flipping SFRs in this market. I have spent a good portion of my adult career as an employee of a well known Company as a Senior Revenue Manager. We parted ways a few years ago and since then I have worked in the Entertainment Industry as a Club/Events Promoter working with several celebrities in Urban and Sports Entertainment.

Real Estate seemed liked a good transition for me since I became familier with it back in 1996 by doing skip traces for several Real Estate Companies in Atlanta, Ga. I currently live between Detroit (hometown) and Atlanta now. Our goals as a company are to branch out into Rehabbing and Flipping Apartment Buildeings, New Home Construction (once the economy rebounds), 1031 Exchanges, REO brokering, etc.

I am wondering if this forum has any information on people selling mortgage notes? I look to benefit from the wisdom of all the accumulated experience here. Please leave me a post and let me know if I can gain any mentors through this forum.
