I would try using Google Search Console (f/k/a Webmaster tools). You should be able to get some addional clarity for keyword queries there. Good luck!

Google has basically obfuscated their terms due to secure searching (HTTPS). This has made it difficult for many query keywords to populate in Adwords when doing keyword research.
