If you have bought a property at a courthouse auction, how do you get the title check cleared ETC...? As I understand it, you are responsible for a slew of things like back taxes, foreclosure fees, liens on the property ETC... :roll:
Is this a case of "I know somebody who knows somebody" or do you guys actual pay a title company to do the research. I ask because it appears to me that that could get very expensive considering you have to have it done before purchasing the property and it also seems like their isn't really that much time to get things all checked out.
Is their way around this, am I missing something any info in this area would be gratefully appreciated. I see them available through a law firm in my area that sells only auctioned homes, the courthouse is literally down the street from so if this is a viable way to buy I'd like to know how.
