Hello Mat, Welcome to BP! Another CT member, that's excellent! I work with investors all over CT, it would be great to meet up and discuss some investing! Call or email me anytime.

@Raymond B.

Yes, But she will typically host an all day class on Saturday which is really informative. Forgive me for not being up to date with the CTREIA. I have been absent for a little while.

-Take care

CTREIA is a great place to start. If there is any Robin Thompson classes I highly recommend those. If your looking for any help with properties, searching, analyzing, renovation cost, design. Or just general advice feel free to give me a ring or shoot me an email. 203.379.7608- [email protected].

Take care

I was thinking of starting a small investment group in New Haven County. Where investors or upcoming investors can get together to discuss real estate investing. Current deals, future deals, general ideas, give advice, home touring etc. Maybe meet once a week at a Starbucks or Panera bread. I know there is CT REIA but I feel half the time thats a sales pitch and there isn't much downtime to interact. Does any one have any thoughts on this or any interest.

I dont at the moment but I'll keep an eye out for ya, Your heading in the right direction though. Companies bring people, people need housing....On the other hand your friend may be able to give me some useful advice as to go about the LOC, anything helps.
-Thanks

Thank you Jenkins,

and

Holly,

Currently I am in the process of building some capital. I am looking to eventually take out a business line of credit to invest with. So as of right now I am laying low. Have you purchased anything yet?

Has anyone had any success with forming partnerships, where one partner would supply all the financing (house cost/material cost..etc.) and the other partner did all the renovation work for flips or MF rentals?

I am looking for employment in the real estate field, I worked as a Realtor and have past experience in residential and commercial construction, I would like to be able to tie the two together some how.. I do not have any formal education (college). I do not want to be commission based. Any suggestions as to what I could do?

Thank you.
