I am  not sure of what my goal is. I was curious about this particular property because it looked cute and has a fireplace, although it needs a lot of work. I was wondering what could be the reason for the County assessor not having a property tax number for it? I was looking at it in terms of flipping it or renting it out because I have not seen it in person and would not want to live in it. Presently. I like to watch HGTV and dream about the possibilities.

Of course, no one was living in that place I was looking at.  From the looks of it, it would have to be gutted.  Razed maybe.

Where I used to go to church in Oakland, CA the neighborhood was gentrified and what used to be a shaky neighborhood is now unaffordable for poor people.  I have heard reports of people in Frenchtown in Tallahassee wanting upgrades of their neighborhood but not to be displaced.

Yeah, I didn't purchase it.  I can't really if I wanted to.  The house is not in a good neighborhood, the comps are really low, the land the house is on is worth only 1/3 of the asking price.  I suppose if a developer wanted to buy the neighborhood, it might be OK if people wanted to sell.

What do you do if you figure the after repair value and after subtracting the estimated repairs,  the seller should pay you because the repairs are more than the house is worth?

They keep mentioning this (or something like this, I'm not sure of the title) on The People's Court.  Where do you get this and shouldn't tenants already there have one on file in Florida?

Thank you, Simran.  I will get back to you.  I'm taking a Webinar on having a plan to get a property before the end of the year right now, but they're talking about Pro membership, and I'm already a Pro.
