Thanks Paul. Yeah, I did see "eviction court" when I goggled it but was planning on calling in the AM. I will be sure to read your link

So I've decided to send letters to prospects. I'm going to try a very simple approach and basically handwrite "I want to buy your home, call Chris @...". I've read that the color yellow works well? I figured I'd use yellow loose leaf paper. I already have the stamps, envelopes and paper.

The big question is...

 Who do I send it to? My budget/supplies are very limited. I was going to send out 50 letters. Is that too small of an amount? I thought something is better than nothing? I don't want to waste these letters! :) If you could only send out 50 letters who would you send them to?

Thanks in advance

@Tiffany Plovie

Wow, that's a great story! I totally understand what you're saying and where you are coming from. My big "why" is certainly my kids. I never want them to not have $20 for earnest money (or anything for that matter) in life!

One day owning a house at the beach is #2 :)

Thanks @Tiffany Plovie

and

@Aaron Mazzrillo

One day I will be schooling someone on here about what it takes with my story!

Aaron,

Thanks for the advice and I agree with you 100% about getting my finances in order, which I'm also working on as well. Looking ahead, I see RE Investing as a life long thing that will grow with my increased financial stability.

I've read the millionaire mind about 7 years ago which is what inspired me to get into real estate in the first place. I will check out the millionaire next door. I've heard of Think and Grow Rich, but have never heard of The Compound Effect...thanks Aaron!

Thanks all for rolling out the welcome mat!

@BradGlenn I see you're in York Co as well. I currently sell new construction in Hburg as my "day job" and over the last 2 years have helped someone do wholesale deals locally(marketing, customer service stuff). I have formed and LLC and am trying to get more official. Learning the mechanics of the deal, etc. I'll def check out Rich Dad & the podcast as many people have recommended it. I will also let you know if I come across good deals. I see you're into rentals. What areas/types of property do you like?

No worries and yes, that's what I meant. Good point about the details, I def don't want to learn the hard way!
