And also, every single Airbnb that my company manages/cleans, not one of my 29 clients resides in their Airbnb. These clients are all professionals, and some of them have multiple properties that they Airbnb. I'm not saying that this is not a law, but I know that people do it and it can be done.

Pat Heminger and Rob McCarthy I'm very well aware of the laws pertaining to Airbnb rentals in Massachusetts. I'm actually looking for landlords or property managers that are WILLING to let me Airbnb. I have been to multiple meetings in the city of Cambridge to petition to keep Airbnb in this area. I understand why some people do not like them (landlords, other tenants, property managers) but I also understand how profitable they are and also how to run and manage a successful Airbnb. You can screen your guests and the insurance Airbnb provides is for one million dollars and is also GREAT insurance. People have issues with guests for the same reason landlords have issues with tenants. If you do not screen them and you just want to get anyone in there simply for money etc., then yes there will be issues.

Hi Sam Valme ! So, actually, I started out as just a residential cleaning company. About a year and a half ago, I met a man who owned an Airbnb and had hired my company to clean it. I honestly had no idea what Airbnb was until I started cleaning them. I realized how profitable the Airbnb business was, not only for the owner, but also for my cleaning business. Some of these Airbnb turn overs are every 1-2 days, which means my cleaners are sometimes cleaning the same rental 5 days a week! I decided to pursue more Airbnb cleaning accounts and now have 29 of them. We coordinate the cleanings with the owners. Some of the owners send the schedules via email, some of the owners use services such as Guesty or Vreasy (and they send us emails), or they sync their calendar to ours. I got into the property management aspect of it because when we would meet with clients for the estimate, some of them would ask about other services we offered. I realized that a lot of the clients do not live close by or even in the state and would need someone to care for their property. I decided to start offering small services that would be just for the Airbnb such as supplying toiletries (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo etc), welcoming gifts for guests, meeting the guests to deliver the keys to them, and also lock out service in case the guest loses their key. We realized the demand was high and decided to add on more services. We started offering weekly trash removal, fixing things around the home, going by the home if the guest had an issue with a television, a light bulb being out, a stove not working etc. If it is something our worker cannot fix, then we have our own sub contractors we can call. Soooo... Now, I'm ready to start my own Airbnb! Just need to find the right place! :)

Hi Cheng,

Are you going to be renting out spaces? I am looking to rent an apartment to Airbnb.

And yes, my company name is Curran Interiors, LLC. The website is www.curraninteriors.net.

Hey guys!

My name is Cassandra and I'm a 28 year old entrepreneur. I currently own a successful residential, commercial and Airbnb cleaning business. I have also started dabbling in property management for Airbnb rentals and some commercial properties.

I am currently trying to invest in my own Airbnb properties. I pretty much know how it works in terms of guests, cleanings, etc., but still trying to find some properties to rent out.

I eventually would love to be able to flip houses and own properties. I don't know enough about it yet, but am looking forward to learning!
