I am currently a new investor from New York and am interested in acquiring REO's and Short Sales in Pittsburgh. What are the best ways to acquire them?

What other ways can I acquire a REO property? I am looking for creative ways to do this.

The person who is letting me sell this house for her wants to sell her house and willing to give me an opportunity to sell it. Are there any videos on how I can go about this. I have done a lot of education but I still am confused on what to do first or maybe how can I partner with someone to help me sell this. I am open to ideas just want the right guidance. Also I haven't drafted any contract with this person yet mainly because I never done it before. I got templates and know an attorney who can help me with that but I do not want to go blindly I rather get some advice before I do this. I also do know some real estate agents but I do not want to give them the sale and they do a mediocre job. If anyone have advice or can point me to someone who can help me can you please help me. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip! At the moment my brother and I are thinking which state to invest in. So far we considering either New York or New Jersey since we reside in NYC but are looking at other nearby states as well.

@Alex Olsen

Will do that! Thanks for the suggestion!

First time investor here. I hear it is ideal to get yourself a Real Estate "Support Team” before purchasing a property. Here is my list so far:

1. Real Estate Agent

2. Lender (possible using conventional loan)

3. Escrow/ Title Company

4. Real Estate Attorney

5. Home Inspector

6. CPA Accountant

7. Contractor/Handy Man

Am I missing something or is this enough? Open to hear any suggestions. Thanks!
