Hey Dhillon, your ambition is awesome! I think the advice above is key, keep learning and build capital. Listen to the Podcast! One episode I recently listened to was talking about mentors and adding value to them. Why would a successful investor want to spend the time with you. When you take questions to them have you put thought into that question, are you showing them that you are implementing what you have been taught by them. In the PC I am thinking of, (sorry I can't remember which episode specifically) they mention someone who would use verbage like you have isn't worth their time. They said they wouldn't work with someone who needs their hand held, they aren't looking for a mentor they are looking for a parent.
"Someone to mentor, coach, and walk me through everything."
I am not trying to be a dick, just honest. I don't think a busy investor will want to walk you through everything. I am in a similar situation as you, being a newbie except I am 29 so you are a decade ahead of me! Keep up the good work! My only advice is make sure you are adding value to your potential mentors (Michelle mentioned volunteering for an investor). You could also just ask a potential mentor if their is anything you can do to help them, they might just put you to work.
Best of luck and welcome to BP!
