Hey Jake welcome to BP. Yeah man, if you could work for a GC, especially one who is doing rehabs, you would learn a ton about what goes into a flip. And make some friends with an agent or two who work a lot with investors and they can help you learn the local market and find you deals-- start building those relationships for when you're ready to start investing. Best of luck Jake!

This is kind of funny, I set keyword alerts on BP to notify me when certain things show up in the forums and Inland Empire is one of my keywords. I forgot that your area is referred to as that. I grew up in Spokane but now I live in Redlands, CA, which is a part of what is also considered the Inland Empire down here. Nice hearing from a fellow Spokanite! I'm just getting into the game down here but have the Northwest on my radar as a place to invest in the near future and likely move to again-- how is the market up there? What is your investing strategy?

I thought of that, wanted to check here first to see if anyone had any righteous recommendations. Thanks Manolo

Hey BP,

I'm helping a friend out with a few projects at his business in Redlands, CA (Inland Empire) and he's got a rat problem. Looking for a reliable exterminator to tackle this one-- can anyone give me a reference? Thanks!

Thanks Robert. For private loans, do you have to know someone who knows someone, or are there companies or services accessible to us?

I just found a partner to fund fix and flips with me. The problem is we don't have quite enough capital to do everything we want but we'd like to deal with off-market properties. How do we get a private loan with a reasonable interest rate that would be able to get us cash within a week if need be?
