@Adrien Ulliac haven’t ever purchased one myself but what about renting a dumpster? Not sure of prices or if you have enough stuff to fill one though.

Hey Bigger Pockets!
I am a Canadian currently working in Toronto but soon relocating back home to Edmonton. I recently finished up my MSc in Computer Science at the University of Toronto on Machine Learning in Healthcare and am working (remotely!) as an Applied Research Scientist with a Toronto-based venture capital firm. Currently I have no real estate investments, but absorbing as much as I can right now, primarily through podcasts. My family has a few SFH rentals in Edmonton and I had managed an off-campus, 18-room student residence during undergrad at UAlberta.
While I know the best time to get started on real estate, or any investing, is now rather than later, I am considering moving to the US to work tech. This would mean a TN visa and (most likely) ending my significant ties to Canada in order to avoid double taxation. Figuring this out has been a bit complicated, so if you have gone through a similar process please reach out! While I am primarily targeting NYC, Seattle, or SF Bay for work, I am interested in remote/out-of-state investing and properties back in Canada if the numbers are right. I am also exploring the process around offering private lending and hard money loans.
Please say hi if you have any overlap with the above! Looking forward to connecting with you.
