So, I'm located and Michigan and per my future Brokers advice, I went through the online school Real Estate Express to obtain my 40 hours of class. It wasn't the best of experiences but I passed.
I took my state exam on Thursday and failed with a 66%. I was SO disappointed but I was kind of expecting it. I had NO CLUE what all to study before hand. I feel like there's loads and loads of information and no clear direction on what's the most to least important. I felt like I was studying at random.
I also found that a lot of study materials on the internet are not correct. That's frustrating. I just want ONE really great program or book or YouTube channel to study from. I've already bought so many study materials and I'm finding conflicting information in all of them.
I've went through Nursing school and enjoyed that craziness emensly more than trying to get my RE license. I'm really excited to join the world of real estate but I'm getting a little bummed out over all the $$$ and hoops to jump through to get there. Any advice at all is SO appreciated!
Thanks!!
