Hi everybody,

Happy New Year !

My husband and I are flippers in Phoenix.

We are thinking about moving to Denver, CO.

Anybody who’s willing to share their experience on this topic ?

Thank you

@Jorge Perez

Hi Jorge, how are you ?

I was curious to know how does real estate is doing in Miami area lately with all the COVID craziness going on..

We are still thinking about moving to Florida and go ahead with our flipping business.

Thank you for an update !

Hi everybody !

My husband and I are flippers in Phoenix area AZ.

We are thinking moving to LA area in the next year or so.

We do flips ourself and my husband likes to do some construction jobs for third party as well.

He studied Business Management but he ended up LOVING real estate and construction !

He’s very skilled and can perform in almost all aspect of a deep remodeling process and re-built.

During our flips, he does the a big part of the job himself and he stay on top of workers everyday.

We’ll be in LA for a month starting tomorrow.

You can PM me if you have something going and you seek help on construction site and you want to meet him.

Thank you all,

Carolina

@Brandon Carlson me too @Jack T. !

I’ll be in LA for a month starting tomorrow and I’m open to anybody that wants to meet for a chat or show properties, possible flips and fixer up.

I have so much to learn about LA and California housing market !!

I would love also to connect with a realtor @b@Brandon Carlson to get a general idea and maybe start a collaboration.

Best,

Carolina

@Brett Goldsmith

Got it ! So yes, different scenarios there.

One good think that we have on our side is that my husband does part of the job himself because he’s very knowledgeable and he likes it; also, he’s really on top of workers that he hires for doing the other part of the job and we tend to get the less expensive workers out there (you really need to stay on top of them especially if you pay less then average).

So this is how we manage to renovate a house with a lower budget labor then average and we have a bit more budget for quality materials and fancy details.

@Leeron Regev

You are very right Leeron. You mostly make money when you buy ! A good buy is a deal breaker.

So I’ll message you privately to see if there is any interesting deal we can jump into.

Thank you !

@Cornelius Charles I understand what you are saying

@Jack T. Nice Jack, so maybe we can get in touch and see if there is any interesting deal we can jump into ?

@Michael McFadden thank you Michael !

Do you guys know something about the Westlake hills community in Thousand Oaks ?

I saw something there that might be interesting to flip..

@Brett Goldsmith

That’s interesting because I used to think the opposite, so not a good place at all. But I have been there for the weekend and I was looking on Redfin and is true that the demand is always there and is strong ! I think is super hard to find a good deal.

Also, are flippers buying like million dollars houses, fix it and resale for profit ? Because average price there is very high..
