Thanks for all the help guys! Looks like I'll have to try a first time home before that unfortunate inevitability happens.

I was on here a while back but didn't know what I wanted to do in life so I didn't want to waste anyones time. But now I do so I can move forward with getting into this realestate thing considering I'm going to inherit my family home at some point and would like to leverage to free myself from the rat race. I've listened to BP Podcast 210 and was very motivated, espesially since the couple interviewed was from Jersey. Since I'm from Englewood NJ, I hope I would be able to connect or get some bits and pieces from them and others that might be in my area. 

I wanted to start off with this question: Are you considered a first time home buyer if you inherit a home?
