What was your plan going in?  What did you pay for it?  What are your goals and how did this property fit into them?  I think when you answer those questions, you'll be able to answer the questions you asked.

Logistically, if a property is going to be a long term rental I would tend towards tile and not hardwood, especially if it's going to cost you 2300 just to refinish it.

I know Kissimmee has alot of weekly rental homes. With all that marketing that Disney does and the beautiful weather it's a win win.  

I like my day job for the most part. Not saying I don't have the occasional day when I do dream of quitting it but for the most part I get to earn a steady paycheck while ploughing money into my investments (property and otherwise).

For now, I'm not a quitter. But I am a believer!

Man I wish this thread existed when I lived in Orlando.  I was living right by Ucf and Waterford lakes!  Seems like RE investors are joining forces all over the U.S.!  Any meetings in 2015?
