@Zachary Gwin Thanks man and ditto.

Sweet man that sounds rad. Yeah I hear CO is the place to be in terms of the market... honestly moving there seems more logical every day. We shall see! Cool to hear a CA native planting his roots there. I wish you well bro! And feel free to hit me up anytime man. I'm out there about once a year at this point, to visit family. I'll reach out when I'm out there next.

@Zachary Gwin

 Thanks brotha!

Yeah I feel you bro. I'm always interested by the mesh that happens with personalities in business. It's a trip, you can never discount emotions or personal taste or character when it comes to business.

As far as what kind of properties, I'm mainly looking at single family residences on the MLS through my realtor (who is a family member), as well as preforeclosures using an app called Property Radar. Literally making phone calls to realtors from the MLS, door knocking, and mail packet drop offs.

What about yourself?

By the way, my wife's entire family is in Colorado. All over the place, from Glenwood Springs, Colorado Springs, to Limon and everything in between. We've often seriously considered moving out that way.

Hey all, my name is Carlos Ramirez and I'm an investor from the Los Angeles area.

After years of curiosity in real estate investing, and after attending a well known guru seminar here in LA, I mentioned to a seasoned investor friend of mine that my wife Elizabeth and I had recently made the decision to jump in feet first and get into investing no holds barred. He essentially has taken the role of mentor in this area of our lives and he suggested I join the BP community, among other things. That was a few months ago, and this website and community have been extremely huge in preparing our launch into this next phase in life. I've since become a pro member, have bought a few books from the site and am constantly listening to the BP podcasts. Don't even get me started on the analysis tools... all day long, all day strong (such a helpful tool that has brought a huge measure of confidence in terms of deal finding).

With that said, our short terms goals are to establish a wholesaling business in which we can get a steady stream of income that can replace our current sources of income. Afterwards, we'd love to get into flipping as our main source of income long term. We haven't really chomped through the buy and hold thought process yet though, so we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Currently, we have very little experience in real estate, and have yet to close our first deal, but this week we've started contacting realtors to start putting in offers. Mainly at this point, contacting and learning to ask the right questions and poke and prod through conversation. It's been interesting!

Well, it's a pleasure to have joined this community and we're excited to network with you guys. If anyone has any questions, etc. feel free to hit us up through pm or a reply on this post for now. We'll be putting up a video of ourselves hopefully within the next week as our goal is to put down our own vibe on it to make ourselves a little more personal in this digital space we call "the internet" than an intro post would do.

Til then, peace!
