I am obviously aware of how insanely high this is for a house that is projected to arv in the 150k neighborhood, I am going to get three or 4 more quotes, but would love to get some feedback on where these numbers should really be. I’d like to have a conversation with the contractor and sound intelligent in doing so.

I got my first proposal back from a contractor-here are the items that stood out:

Painting-interior walls, trim doors and cabinets, exterior power wash, paint trim, wrought iron-$7,177

Flooring-LVT 339 sq ft, 1200 sq ft carpet-$4,620

Cabinetry kitchen and vanities-$8,313

Doors-all interior doors, 4 bi-fold closet doors, 3 exterior doors-$6,202

Punch list- door hardware, cabinet hardware, knobs deadbolts, hinges-$1,804
