Hey guys, I'm a newbie from the Beaufort area and would like to join the group also. I'm feeding myself as much knowledge as possible and need to know the local players

Thanks for the insight Micheal!

I definitely agree. Also that's a great idea about reaching out to the local agents personally as well. I've been so busy looking at such apps one sided-ly that I completely overlooked that nugget. Plus BP is so active and crammed full of information I have to remember that everything isn't going to be easily presented to me. Effort is the name of the game. Thanks again!

What's up BP nation!

I'm a new investor on the real estate scene here in Beaufort, SC. I'm 31 yrs old and I've dabbled with the idea of real estate since my early 20's. I wish I had've stuck with the idea but I have no regrets. I may not have had the ambition to complete the journey then. But I've definitely come full circle to a new determination since then.

Im familiar with the Beaufort, Columbia and Lexington areas of SC. I'm interested in building a base with wholesaling to catapult me to higher levels of rei. Ive seen and heard from this site that The Midland area of SC has a lot of potential. But I'm wondering about the Beaufort county and closely surrounding areas? Are there any contractors, agents and flipper/rehabbers here who do deals in these areas? I'm here to build new relationships, meet great people and learn from the best. Maybe you guys can give me a feel for the market in these areas. I'm also open to advice from any fellow members in the forum. Nice to meet you all.

I am hearing a lot of wholesaler horror stories lately. It seems integrity is in short supply. Wholesaling is more a service within an industry.  That is how I am building my wholesaling business, a service. The more stories I read, the closer I get to defining five star service.

Well said. My sentiments exactly. The more "fly-by nighters" there are, the better it will be to recognize the efficient well oiled machines. Anyone can correct my lingo if they'd like, but it seems to me a true and correct wholesaler is becoming a "niche" in itself. There's a market for the detail oriented ones to reappear.

Great post.
