Im a investor and have multiple properties. Whether, I purchase a home or maintain existing rental properties there's always major or minor repair cost. Is there any benefit to owning my own remodeling company to run those jobs through?

If anyone could help me gain access to that group, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

@Carlton F. My wife and I live in PG County and are doing the same thing, because DC and PG prices are a bit out of our range and business plan. We are working with a great Baltimore realty team call Sachs Realty. They have been patient, viewed every property and analyzed every property ( over 100 properties) with us. We are hopefully closing on our first deal with them next week, and because of how involved and knowledgeable they were, Im confident it the right investment purchase for us.

@Antony Charlier Im new too. Recently got a HELOC just to find out that the area I initially wanted to invest in, the numbers just did not make sense for a buy and hold. Which caused my motivation to be deflated. Now I have to research other markets, which I have no idea how to do, in which I can afford. So my advice would be to do the math and market research, so that you can set realistic criteria for yourself.

Yes this does help @Cassidy Burns. I have been looking into local banks for a construction loans, but everyone acted like they never heard of it. I started thinking construction loans were a urban legend.

Thanks for this post, Im a newbie investor and currently looking in the Maryland area to start investing @Alexander Lee. I see there are conflicted opinions on the BRRR stratergy for PG county. I think with my limited experience I would tend to agree with PG county a difficult area, unless you find a distressed property with good bones. But like I said Im new to this and its only my amateur opinion.
