Hey @Justin Brophy ,

Note there is "Spring, TX" and "Spring ISD".  If your timeline is 3-5 years I would stay out of Spring ISD. There are other areas of Spring, TX that have good potential (ex. The Woodlands).  From what I've seen, Klein ISD still has a "halo effect" as far as desirability.  Cypress (the city and ISD) is an up-and-coming area that has big potential but it is a little far away from Exxon to see the "bump" from the new headquarters.

Obviously, nothing in Spring is going to change overnight but if you are looking for a long-term hold you could see appreciation and desirability in 10-15 years.

I wish I could make it but the in-laws are in town.  I will keep an eye out for the next one.

HAR.com seems to be the most up-to-date site for listings I have found in the Houston area. They have great search and bookmark features.

Hi Sarah,

I am interested in getting involved in Cy-Fair/Klein area real estate as well. Can you update us on how easy it was to rent out this house at $1,300?

Thanks!

Hi all,

I am going to relocate to the North West Houston area and I am looking for some insight to the market in the area. I have thought about purchasing a 3/2+ SFH as a primary residence with the intent of renting when we are ready to upgrade. What do you think? What are some good areas? What should I look for in a house? Thanks for any feedback.
