Post: Following Up With Leads?

Hey BP,

I was wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions on how to keep track of leads, whether you've talked to them, when you should follow up, etc. Right now we're using the Fusion MLS system, as well as some mixture of Google but I feel like I'm just missing out on when I should be following up way too often. Preferably something free like an excel sheet or something. I'm a new agent on a budget as I'm spending enough on services, fees, and subscriptions, but I feel this is hurting my ability to generate income so I need help. Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

Hello BP,

I'm designing my own business cards on Zazzle and I'm trying to figure out how to add the equal housing and realtor logos to my card. I need to upload them as images with a transparent background I'm guessing. However, I have no idea where to get them in the right size and what not. Can anyone advise me on this? Thanks in advance!

Hope that helps.

Good luck!

Easy enough! Thanks! Which covers the "trigger items" in ads that require full disclosure? Which allows the buyer 3 days to cancel the financing?

Hey Folks,

I'm taking my national and state salesperson exam early tomorrow morning. One thing I can't seem to remember and consistently get wrong on practice tests is the difference between Truth In Lending, RESPA, and Regulation-Z and what they each require. The only reason I remember the Equal Credit Opportunity Act is because it stands alone as credit. I was wondering what the key differences are between the main three mentioned, as far as what will be required of me as an agent and on the test. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the advice! I'm definitely going to take a PSI Practice exam once I feel I've studied enough to at least have an idea what the test looks like. It will calm the nerves a bit.

Hey Folks,

I'm taking my Salesperson exam this Monday (08/24/15) and had a couple questions about the exam. I understand there is a state and national portion. However, in trying to make sure I'm well prepared for both, I can't seem to figure out what knowledge is required for the national exam, and what is required for the state exam. Can anyone clear this up for me?

Also, I'm wondering specifically to Nevada how much of the test is on Nevada Law. If there are four topics and the test is forty questions I imagine it would be about ten questions give or take. My realty school really bloated the Nevada Law section and there is just way too much in there. Several hours (about 16) worth. Can anybody narrow down the law knowledge that will be asked of me so I can focus on more specific topics?

Thanks In Advance,

   -Jason E.

Hey Folks,

I'm set to take my national and state tests on August 18th, 2015. I'm going tomorrow to get fingerprinted and start the background check process tomorrow, with the hopes that it will be done or close to by the time I test. After I get a broker to sign my application, and I submit it for my license, how long does it take to get approved? Also, do I have to get to work under the broker that signs the application or am I allowed to change my decision? Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Jason E.
