Hey folks, 

I just got here from Oklahoma, where I left a few houses behind under management.  Looking to continue my investing in the Houston area.  I'm in oil & gas.

Is anyone investing in East Houston, Passedena/Baytown. I'm currently looking for BRRR opportunities (distressed properties) in these blue collar areas, would love to have someone to bounce some numbers off of seeing as how new I am to town. I have noticed that insurance and taxes are a larger consideration around these parts. I'd also like to get on some wholesalers lists if there are any in the area, and attend some meetups if possible.
