Does anyone have any recommendations for insurance agents and policy types (I’m assuming umbrella)for a 3-4 unit BRRR in NH? Do I need to get a specific policy type that would insure my renovation as well?

You have all been great. Thank you all for your advice. What is your opinion with hard money lending specifically on a BRRR then a refinance to either a residential 30yr fixed or a commercial loan.

@Jonathan Child thank you for the input. I will look into the crisis, I didn't know anything about it. What if I did a BRRR, how would I refinance?

@Brian Hamel Thanks for the advice I have heard that too, but I have also heard there being issues with doing so. I will continue to look into it and give you an update

@Harjeet Bhatti how do you properly protect yourself and your partners when not doing an LLC? I would love to do a conventional loan for the interest rates, but it just doesnt seem like the smart thing to do.

Hi my name is Cameron and I have been a BP member for a few years, I have only recently become active through the site. I am looking for my first investment property in the Southern NH area. I am looking to do a multifamily rental with a property management company.

Multi families in this area can be upwards of $350K, with a 20-25% DP can be pricey. I am looking to do this under an LLC to protect myself. Does this mean only commercial lending?

Any financing advice would be huge.
