Could they "gift" it to me?  I'm looking to purchase my own property and want to use the money from the sale of the property for my next home but all the equity is under the business name.  Nothing is owed on the house.

Hello all,

Looking to get some advice on a scenario. My parents investment LLC used 1031 exchange money to buy a house that I want to put in my personal name so I can file a PRE exemption. Has anyone found a way to transfer property bought with 1031 money and in LLC's name into a family members personal name without paying capital gains tax or what's the best way to go about this that works out for both parties?
