Saw your post in my thread and thought I should drop a good luck note in yours.  I've been through Utica a bunch of times and always try to stop at this certain Polish deli down there.  I have lots of friends from down your way too.

Long time lurker, first-time poster. My wife and I are pretty committed to REI as our path to having enough to use our time for things better than money – maybe eventually in foreign missions. And we just like real estate...

We live in the center of the Adirondacks in Northern NY, a beautiful but slightly economically depressed area. We have a few real estate transactions behind us and own our personal house without debt. Our goals are to do what it takes to eventually end up with 50 plus doors in well maintained, well managed, and well-financed buildings. (I'm self-employed in the trades, not that I'll be doing all the work.)

I joined this community thinking it would be a good place to network and bought a pro membership for the calculators and access to the marketplace. We buy from each other fairly often, right?

And, I can't conclude this introduction without shouting out to Josh and Brandon for their truly excellent podcast. Life changing.
