I have won and purchesed 2 HUD homes in the past few months and I was given a inspection period... I did not discover anything so I don't know if you could back out but that was my understanding. Talk to the broker who put in your offer quick.........

Great fix for the housing market... make it harder for people to buy and sure up the market. Thanks Uncle Sam.

You can search around for the form on the internet. Here in TX they post it on the internet for free. You shoudnt have to pay for it. Look at your past contracts and see if there is a form number on them and google that??? Good Luck

I have a easy rehab that I am looking to get to rent. All of the numbers look good, question is... it is next to a grave yard. Has anyone had any issues renting or selling a place next to a grave yard? This place is outside of Houston in La Marque Texas.

I just baught a home from HUD. If you go to hud.gov then go to their link for your state that is the real deal house for sale. When I started looking around more after my bid was accepted with Hud I saw my house for sale for various other prices....all when I have a contract.
If it is a Hud home only go to the listing from Hus's own page.

I think everone is scared right now. Wait until property values start to level off and things will change. I have one that I am financing now but an going to start to look for owner finance oportunities.

TX has a state limit of 80% from what I have seen. Give Excell MOrtage a call, they are out of Houston. I have not had any dealings with yet but have one project in the works with them and they seem to be a good company.

I bought a new house in Colorado from a builder and figured I did not need a inspection. When it came time to sell the seller had a inspection and found a TON of issues that were all the builders fault. The big one was that there was no insalation in the attic.

With a new house you can get the builder to fix it. With a old house there is always something that you can bring up to work with the seller to come to some concession that will more than pay for the inspection.
