@Dave Foster Yes there are. This is an inherited Corp. However another Corp. we inherited that owned a shopping center was sold and 3 of the 4 owners were able to 1031 that into an apartment complex w/o the same ownership? How is that possible if it has to be the same company?

Is this scenario an option for a 1031?

- Three owners of Two commercial real estate properties

- owner A has been unwilling to sell, buy out owner B and C or lease one empty property, emptied out bank account sabotaging the company.

- the Corp is being dissolved via court ruling at auction

Can owner B and C 1031 that from the auction into another property?

Can they buy the two properties back at auction using 1031 exchange?

Street by street can be very different. Ive found that areas like Sylvan Hills and Capital Views have transitioned more.

Is there any advantage to forming your LLC in the state you purchase a property?

Ie. I live in GA but am looking to buy properties in KY .

Should I form the LLC in Kentucky or Georgia? Is there a difference?
