Thank you all for the warm welcome! I've been to other forums and I've never seen this many engaging members. Maybe its the culture of RE, but whatever, I'm loving all the info I'm learning off BP!!

James - thank you for the reassurance that its possible to start in RE while working my day job. Theres an enormous amount of sacrifice needed by me and my family to pursue this endevour, but I'm willing and focused to not only "talk the talk" but "walk the walk"!

Mike and Matt - howzit!! haha dont get to say that much often anymore. I grew up on Oahu and left approx. 7 yrs ago to pursue a higher education and ended up not returning due to the high cost of living and poor job market for my profession. Most of my family is still living on Oahu and I return 2-3x a yr. I'd love to do deals in HI one day, just giving you guys a heads up, I'm sure I'll come knockin!

Hi everyone! My name is Brandon and I currently live in LA but grew up in Hawaii. I'm completely new to the RE game, and I've caught the bug for learning and reading about everything RE! I currently work in healthcare, but I'd like to eventually transition out of this arena and into YOURS! I live a family-centered, positive, and healthy lifestyle. My goals, though not very specific, is to make my first deal by the end of the year after learning/reading enough material to minimize my risks. I admire what many of you have done for yourselves and I hope to someday join the ranks!
