Hello BP family! I have a great tenant for 3 years now and got a call from her asking me to change our lease agreement into his new LLC .WE just renew out contract 2 months ago for another year. How do you handle situation like this? Thanks in advance.

Thank you all for all the replies and help. I finally got my certificate  of occupancy 2 days ago and my tenant already  move in on the same day.

I have a property that I recently bought and rehab in IL. I placed the property in the market even before not done with the rehab and found a tenant. I placed the property in the market for rent prior to the final inspection of the village. My tenant was supposed to move in this week however the inspector want me to fix minor things before I can get a occupancy clearance. I will have my final inspection again in 2 days and positive that I will have the clearance since we address the issue already. We already signed the lease agreement but my tenant failed to pay his security deposit and first mo rent through cozy.cohe said he will pay when i get a occupancy clearance from the village. How do I handle situation like this. Thanks for all the help.

After few months of being here  I finally closed my first property in the south of chicago .I am now looking for a reliable contractor that can help me remodel the house.its a 1200 sq ft house located oak forest with 3 br and 2 car garage.It needs total updating of the kitchen, bathroom ,paint and floors.I would appreciate any referral for a reliable contractor. Thanks a lot.
