@Nicholas Gessner It is an independent contractor (mother and son team), so I don’t technically think they are a registered business.

I’m not sure If I need a workers comp insurance plan or certificate of consent to self-insure considering the only individual who will be working in the house is the cleaning crew, who would be considered an independent contractor. Can someone shed some light on this?

Does anyone have somewhat of a roundabout number that I can expect to pay a contractor to renovate a 2-3 bedroom home? I’m talking just a facelift to modernize, the foundation and bones are prime.
