Hello Bigger Pockets Family! I have a few questions for anyone willing to help. We are just getting started pretty quickly in the Investing universe. Our strategy will be to Wholesale for the time being until we can build some wealth to start funding some flips. We have decided to begin wholesaling SFH in a few Bay Area markets, but are definitely open to other strategies and ideas! I'm in desperate need of advice from a buyer who is familiar with Wholesaling in the South Bay, and who would be interested in hiring a bird dog for a while so that we can learn the business and the processes of how this all works. I currently have a nice long list of vacant homes in the Bay Area, but I would love to connect with a Buyer in a few of these markets and better understand what to look for in these listings and what the pricing should/would look like for these homes. Hello Bigger Pockets Family!! I hope you are all having a wonderful day today! So the truth is, I'm technically not "new" to BP, as I've been a member for a year now. HOWEVER, my 9-5 (and just life in general) has taken me so far away from my REI dreams, that I've barely opened up my BP app or info in the last 1 year+. So, I figured that I would re-introduce myself, in hopes of meeting some really great people this time around who can help me stay on track and are open to working together! About me: I am STILL a very new Investor who is just starting out. I am looking to grow my business, learn the ropes and begin building GENUINE & trusting relationships. I entered this industry and business in hopes of honestly helping people find what it is that they are truly looking for in Real Estate. My background in Real Estate consists of the following: - I've been renting properties to live in since I was 18 years old. - I currently work for DocuSign as the Sr. Manager of Strategic Alliances for Real Estate. Anyone who is familiar with DocuSign knows that this business was founded while signing papers when our Founder bought his new home. :) I currently reside in the Bay Area (Los Gatos, CA) with the love of my life (who I'm also trying to recruit into this), our 4 year old baby boy, our 2.5 year old Lab pup, and hopefully more babies to come very soon! My "WHY": I have spent many years in the Tech Industry holding various positions and making a lot of money. I've learned so much, and am extremely grateful for my opportunities! I have met SO many amazing people along the way as well!! But the 9-5 + the requirements of me to travel and miss out on things that mean the world to me (time with my family, milestones of my son, family vacations and making memories every single day) are finally taking their toll. I have always dreamed of being present for my children and providing them the absolute best possible life that I can for them. Being successful as an Investor would allow me the freedom to build this dream. I do not own my home. I live in the Bay Area, where no amount of money that I make in the Corporate Universe can help me buy a house AND achieve the dreams that I have in this life for my family. It's so incredibly hard to do. Working in the REI industry would change this for my family and I. I have also ALWAYS dreamed of helping people. I truly aspire to be a Doctor one day, because my heart has always been in Medicine. Until I can fulfill that aspiration, helping people achieve their dreams of having a HOME for their families would be such an honor. Many of us cannot afford to buy, and if I can help with providing that opportunity to someone else in any way possible, it would be truly amazing!! MatterPort does this, and they're awesome! I believe Zillow has also released this feature, and has recently upgraded user interface. If they have not yet done so, it will definitely be available in early 2018! Happy to put you in-touch with the Director of Sales for MatterPort, if you would like. He's a very good friend of mine.
