Hello everyone!

I was doing some research and apparently SLC doesn't allow STR although I've traveled there several times and have stayed in Airbnb properties. Does anyone in the forum have Airbnb listing there or can tell me more about how the restrictions work? Curious to know because I might want to purchase a second home there whilst offering it on Airbnb for STR.

Also, if anyone knows any investor friendly agents in the area please reach out! Specifically if they have knowledges about STRs and have one themselves! Thank you!

 Thank you Scott for the reply. Does this mean we can write those themes off? Do you own any STRs in the Disney market? Any idea what a sizeable chunk would be? 10k 20k?

Hello everyone! My name is Bruno and I am in the beginning stages of acquiring my first STR in the Disney area. I currently live in south florida and am about 3 hours from the Disney market. Was looking to get some insight from some fairly new STR owners in the area. Just wanted to know if there's any other beginners here and how the experience has been for the first few months. I am sure many people invest from long distance but just curious about how the process went with buying and then the first months of managing your property. Also, curious to know after purchasing if you spend money on theming and furniture updates etc are those able to be written off without an LLC? Thanks in advance for any feedback!
