This sounds like a bright idea if i ever heard one! Thanks for the advice and i will let you know what i decide to do and keep you updated hell i might even tell you my goals!

Remember... what you focus on in life expands. So, if you foucs on your goals, your mind will work consciously and subconsciously on ways to reach them. Oh, and this to: Thoughts Become Things. You must think it before you achieve it.

Start with Lease-Purchase Options and Subject-Tos. One can go to the book store to find out more. I suggest picking up books by Peter Conti and David Finkel. By the way, they do have a mentorship program.

What are you talking about Bruce? Or is this in regards to what a newbie should do when they first start out in REI?

So from your point of view Bruce what type of REI mentor would be most effective for a newbie to get a hold of? Would this all depend on whatever type of investing interest the newbie the most? Or were you suggesting the type of REI that makes the most money and in your opinion what type of REI would that be? thanks for your time Bruce it is all ways a pleasure!

Well, I think one should first choose what type of real estate one wants to invest in -- SFR, Commerical, Mult--family, ect. After that, find a local real estate investing club and do your best to contact the top 5 successful people in that line of investing. Tell them that you're looking for a mentor who will work with you for a year and split the profits 50-50. If you talk to enough people, someone will say yes. If they balk about you not paying them up front, counter by saying that for the first 5 deals, you give them 70% of the profits as a thank you do helping them.

This system works, believe me... it's how it did it myself.

According to Tom Bay’s book, Look Within or Do Without, Harvard Business School did a study on how well its students were doing financially 10 years after they graduated. Here’s what he found:

•27% needed financial assistance didn’t write down their goals.
•60% who lived paycheck to paycheck had set basic goals (that is, to make enough money to live)
•10% who lived comfortable lives had set general goals (that is, they had a specific place they wanted to be in five years).
•3% who were extremely well of had written down their goals. Plus, they wrote out the different steps they needed to do to reach them...

So, please write down your goals. It will change your life.

REI:

Yes I do. But, my company is just a stepping stone for me until I transition into the film business. When there I will make the impact on the world that I was born to do. Now, don't get me wrong, I love helping companies find money to grow, helping clients chose the best mortgage, helping people in foreclosure to find a way out...

but, nothing compares to moving millions of people with my words, my images. That's my true purpose in life, and I'm almost there! All I have to do is continue to focus on what I want in life, continue to put my self in the way of success, and it will come. It has to... the law of attraction never sleeps.
