I'm working up a plan for my first investment, Very interested in flipping a property. I don't plan to invest right away, as I'm still learning a lot. But, would you find a private lender, or a loan. Also, what would be something that would catch your eye about a property, that would make you choose to not invest in?

If you were just getting being introduced into real estate, knowing everything you know now, what would be your first move, or what would you get prepared for?

Hey Everyone, my name is Brook.

I like to listen to BiggerPockets Podcast while at work. I've been telling my husband for awhile now that I'm very interested in real estate. I'm always driving around looking at houses, or houses that need work always wondering what can be transformed. I reside in Kansas, I haven't found the right classes with the best reviews. I'm not really sure what to even look for. I'm very very new to this, but I have to start somewhere and somehow. I don't have any friends or family that know anything about real estate. I'm hoping I can find a few friends on here that are willing to tell me their stories and how they got started, how they came to be. Today is the day that I stop talking about it and start doing! Thank you to BiggerPockets, for such a awesome platform.
