This property is in Michigan, but your profile says you are in Montana. Have you found a property manager in Michigan to whom you can simply hand it over and feel comfortable that the property is being managed properly? To me, this is one of the tricky parts of being an absentee landlord.

Also, by your calculation you will net $1667/year for your $35k investment. What do YOU think of that deal?

Hi Carlee, my duplex is near downtown in the Five Points area and the quad is in SW Raleigh near Crossroads shopping center. How is your landlording experience been so far?

Thanks Bryan, these two properties are doing reasonably well I think. I've come to BP to look for ways to increase my participation in the local RE market. Like you, I have been looking for additional properties for a while now and ours is a difficult market.
