Thank you Sharon!! Great advice and honestly Lian I was thinking the exact same thing. Because I like the "I Buy Houses" business cards, but like Lian said, I am brand new as well so I don't want my slogan on the card to be misleading.

Hello Lian! I just posted a similar question, but honestly we (because I'm going to take my own advice) have to jump out there at do it. Just be yourself and be confident in introducing yourself like you already have on here. Good luck!!!

I have been looking online to find the next REIA club meetings in the Atlanta area, but while I was looking it hit me.

What will I do there?

What will I say when I introduce myself to other seasoned investors?

Because for some reason in my mind I feel like it's a meeting with all seasoned investors making deals and they may not be interested in me wanting to volunteer my time to pick their brain.

Am I over thinking this?

Thanks Larry! I am currently halfway through the Beginner's Guide and I have already set up my keywords. Now I'm just trying to get acquainted with the website so I can get best out of the website.

Thanks Chaz! I plan on buying and holding and allowing my commissions to help with funding.

Thank you Eva! I wasn't expecting such as fast response! But I will definitely look into Habitat For Humanity.

Hello everyone! My name is Brooke and I stumbled upon Bigger Pockets after surfing online. I am in the process of getting my license. I have recently taken the course at Metro Brokers and I am preparing to take my school and then state exam. I am searching for some advice to find volunteer opportunities in Atlanta. My goals are to then use my resources to invest in a multifamily use property and work my way to apartments and eventually having my own real estate company. Is there any advice for a 24 year old trying to jump in feet first and get my hands dirty? Thanks in advance!
