@Tyler Cobb I agree that mindset is the foundation and will definitely add those books to my reading list.

I appreciate your input!

@Alecia Loveless Wow! What a great first investment for you! There seems to be a trend from others who give similar advice of “get out there and do it”. I do not want to get stuck in analysis paralysis and it seems like building a team is a great way to get the ball rolling.

At the end of the day I’ve always been a reader and enjoy it so I’ll probably never stop doing that! Haha

Thanks for your response!

@Patrick Britton I keep hearing “analysis paralysis” in podcasts and the books. It seems like many people get stuck in this mindset of learning but never actually doing anything, just like you are saying. I do not want to wake up 15 years from now with not having done anything but read books so I appreciate your opinion and taking the time to respond!

@Lindsey Buxton yes, definitely quite a bit of information to take in for someone as green as myself but I’m eager to learn and have found enjoyment in doing so.

I have heard about this rookie boot camp and am going to pull the trigger on it. I believe it will be a great investment and pay off in the long run. Thank you for the response!

@Allan Smith thank you very much! Traction has been recommended to me a few times. I think that’ll be my next one!

Hi everyone!

I have heard about Bigger Pockets for approximately a year now and decided to give it a try. After listening to the first 9 BP rookie podcasts and finishing up “How To Invest In Real Estate” in the last week, I am hooked! I am 26 years old with uncertainty on which route I would like to take for beginning my real estate journey.

As an individual who is new to this industry, I was hoping to see if others who were once in my shoes have suggestions and/ or advice on which books to read next.

Thank you!
