I've never spent more than a hundred on just a domain, and now with the advent of new top level domains I probably never will. You should be able to find something across the world of TLDs (.house would be an example) that suits your needs.

Hey Bigger Pockets,

I'm from the Chicago area, but as I should be leaving in the near future I have not pulled the trigger on any properties. However I have been listening to the podcast for 2 years now. Real estate appeals to me from an income / diversification perspective, and I am specifically interested in rental properties and notes.

I'm mostly hoping to interact with people who are similar to some of the great business mind's I've listened to on the podcast. My academic background is in Computer Science and Economics, and my professional background includes having worked in finance, and on multiple software companies from fortune 500s to startups.

I really hope to contribute a lot back to the community I listen to every week!
