Read books and possibly find a mentor. A good mentor will charge around 5K and i know that might be kind of hard for you since you're still in school. A cheaper method would be to go to local REI meetings in your area. You can find these meetings by creating a meetup account on meetup.com

hope this helps!

Hi, can someone help me to understand if it is illegal to wholesale using assignment contracts in FL??? I've read the statue a couple of times but it can be confusing a bit (for me at least). Is there anyone wholesaling with or without a license? What are the pros & cons. All answers are appreciated. Thanks in advanced!

Greetings All!

My name is Brintney I and I'm a TOTAL NEWBIE to the world of real estate but I have a passion for learning about the business which is why I joined this site. I am interested in wholesaling and fix and flips at the moment. I am eager to meet a seasoned REI that would be opened to mentoring and showing me the ropes. All the greats had a mentor, right? Also, I want to get to know the community because I have QUESTIONS! I am currently seeking training from online sources. I am open to YOUR input so help me out, i don't bite!
