I love Dave Meyer.  He's a very smart guy, and his "On The Market Podcast" has been great.  For those reasons, I will wait to listen to several episodes before deciding whether his particular style was a good move for this podcast or not.

I also love David Greene and Rob Abasolo, as well as the way their individual styles complimented each other in the podcast format.  That's why I am bummed that the transition was so quick and didn't attempt to maintain some consistency of personality (like when Josh left and Brandon continued with David, and then Brandon left and David stayed).

Quote from @Jeremy H.:

I think:

1) Landlords are going to make as much profit as they reasonably can. The market will set the price for rentals if it is allowed to operate freely. If the rent is too high people move. If the rent is too low, it will come up due to demand.

EXACTLY!!!!

Why would anyone think that the price of rent has anymore to do with "greedy" people than the price of a new car, or a new cell phone?!?!  Pop culture has made it acceptable to vilify property owners/landlords because they are the "nemesis you see" when you cannot pay your rent.  Nobody thinks the electric company is evil because they shut off the power when you don't pay your bill.  Landlords are no different.  You get what you pay for, and if you can't pay for it ...

@Chase Hunt

My wife and I are investors and we run a small REIA on the Eastern Shore. Most of our properties are in Cecil County, but some of the investors who attend are also in Newark/Wilmington Delaware area and the Salisbury, MD area. We also have some STR investors who buy in Sussex County and Ocean City. Check us out at https://www.facebook.com/groups/846713759601226

It's a great group with a lot of knowledge and a lot of "action takers." And as you know - action takers are money makers!!!

@Juanita C Smith

My wife and I are investors and we run a small REIA on the Eastern Shore. We know Centerville well. Live about 15 miles from it. I don't know too many neighborhoods that have $400K to $850K values unless the properties are on the water or have water access.

What's the address?

@Jack Quin

The law has changed in the last few months and @Tim Miller is correct.  You should read the statutes and call the legal help line to make sure you are in compliance.  It will save you time in the long run.

Also, if you are looking to connect with other investors my wife and I are investors and we run a small REIA on the Eastern Shore.
