I would start by interviewing real estate agents. Once you find one that you like, you can ask for their recommendations for lenders, some realtors work with brokerages that have in-house lenders, while others do not. Prequalification is the first step in order to obtain an FHA loan. If you get into a small multi-family (duplex, triplex, fourplex), typically the lender can typically use 75% of the market rent and add it to your income. Good luck!

Hello BP!

My name is Brian and I am house hacking a fourplex in South Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have read some of the BP books (rich dad poor dad of course). I would love to network with folks here who either wholesale or invest out-of-state. I work part time, so I have time during the week to hustle!

Thanks,

Brian
