Deanna McCormick it's a common garage door. The lease says PARKING When entering or leaving the parking areas, you are required to operate your vehicle at a speed not to exceed five miles per hour. The parking lots are to be used only for the parking of automobiles, motorcycles, vans, or pick-up trucks belonging to or used by Residents and Occupants of the Y Lofts in space designated on the face of the lease. Landlord is not responsible for items in your vehicle. Do not leave any items in your vehicle and always lock your vehicle. Landlord is NOT responsible for damage of any kind to your vehicle. I guess the last sentence answers my question... thanks for the help everyone

Sorry this isn't about investing, but I'm not sure who to ask regarding liability so please help me BP family! I'm renting at the moment and today the garage door of my apartment complex closed on my car and scratched it up. Are they liable for a faulty garage door sensor? Or am I screwed? Thanks in advance lol

Scott Hollister I'm an apple fangirl, so the iMac definitely catches my eye. Your route of obtaining one is so smart, thank you for the advice and for helping me save that 25%! Greg H. I agree that searching for deals is priority! I'm borrowing a family member's laptop right now for all of my research and as open as I am to using library computers, my work hours don't allow me. Owning a computer would help me analyze more deals than before!

Hello Agents! I'm just getting started and I want to make sure I'm prepared with the appropriate technology. I currently own an iPad mini and an iPhone but I need a computer. I'm leaning toward purchasing a desktop and using my iPad for on the go. But I'd like to know what you all personally use for your business and why.
