Great topic! I have been looking steadily the last couple weeks and haven't found anything on market that makes sense given the current interest rate environment. The cost to borrow, pay someone to manage (10-20% rents... i underwrite at 15%), HOA fee's coupled with an, at best 85% occupancy rate) does not cash flow.

Am I mistaken, or are others seeing this, too in the area?

I am looking for a great, boots on the ground realtor that knows the short term rental market in Orlando and can assist me in buying my first Airbnb/VRBO property near Disney.  Serious buyers, but need guidance on neighborhoods to avoid, what may be for sale now that is already income producing, areas to consider, etc.

Back after 3 years!  Come meet with local real estate investors to discuss 2024 plans, what sectors you're investing in, how your funding deals, how you're finding deals, etc.  We look forward to continuing what has been a successful meetup in years past.
