@Angie Williams Thank you, PM sent!

@Mayer M. I have spent the last few months in various neighborhoods and am narrowing down my search to a few properties at the moment. What is preventing me from moving forward at the moment is the contractor part.

For example. if the advice I receive is that in order to enable a good flip i would need to be very hands on and that contractors are hard to find , I would likely avoid a more aggressive project like a multi shell.

I am looking to flip and hold the first property with the hopes of getting an attractive entry point for cash flow.

@David Ross Thanks David, excited to be a part of this great area.

Hi All,

I am embarking on my first flip to hold in Brewerytown PA. I feel comfortable about the location/price however am concerned about the general contractor part of things. I am hoping the great community here can help!

- Does anyone have any recommendations on general contractors in the area?

- I am still narrowing down properties and would like to have a general contractor do a walk through to verify my assumptions. Is this a service all GCs offer and what is the cost?

- I have a full-time job in New Jersey and therefore will not be very hands on with the renovation. What type of time commitment should I expect to be needed?

Any other advice would be appreciated. I have heard many horror stories about contractors and it has raised some hesitation in starting my first flip. I understand there is inherit risk in flipping but am trying to learn as much as I can prior to getting into my first property. Any info you all can share would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Brian
