Hi, does anyone know of a contractor that is insured and licensed for some basic work for a unit in River North?  I need a non-load bearing wall removed from the kitchen, add an island in its place, as well as some other random stuff in the unit, such as new bathroom sink, replace shower guts, lay herring bone pre cut flooring in the bathroom, lay concrete pavers on the balcony.  The unit is a higher end unit.  I appreciate any referrals or advice.  Thanks!!  Brian

@Kris Wong, thanks for the reply, any suggestions how to find solid turn key companies in Chicagoland/Northern Indiana?

Is it smart to build a buy and hold business buying thru wholesalers vs learning the whole acquisition side and competing with wholesalers?  Just a little context, I own a traditional business (non-real estate related) and am looking for the most passive way to own buy and hold real estate.  I appreciate any thoughts on this.  Thanks

Hopefully this is not a naive question, if so, please go easy on me.  How would we go about finding an off the market place to buy (for my family to live in), not even sure if that option exists.  We would be getting a traditional loan up to $450K.  I appreciate any help/direction.  Thanks

Thanks, I sent him a message yesterday, just waiting to hear back!!

Hi, would appreciate any referrals for a mortgage, we currently use Bank of America for our 1 and only rental as well as all our deposit accounts.  We are planning to purchase a quad, will live in one of the units.  We are open to non-traditional options as well.

Also, looking for a line of credit for my long standing traditional profitable business.  Thanks in advance for your help.  (BTW, I am already in contact with BOA and Guaranteed Rate, just waiting for my 2017 tax returns to be completed which should be this month)
