I have a double I purchased in 2017 I lived there for a little over a year and moved out I would like to buy this 4 plex in January but I was wondering could I was a fha again or would I have to put down 20%

Hey bp family so I recently got approved for my homestead exemption on my double but a few days ago I got a letter stating that they were removing it because it had came to their attention that both sides of the double was being used as rental property cause I was supposed to be staying on one side and renting the other I was gonna call them and say I recently moved out that side but I really didn’t wanna call them and push the issue and make it any worse... Can anyone explain to me how they could have found this out and any further action I should take????

Casity Kao yeah I was thinking about going back to my bank and get another loan and pay the 20% or I was thinking I could split the risk with another investor for the flip

Hi bp family I was told that you should wait 1 to 2 years of tax filings before buying another investment property because buying too quickly can put you in a different income bracket and raise tax liability.? I bought a investment property In chalmette la and was planning to buy again and flip to pay off the 1st one any advice???
